Experience our Summer Fete
AUGUST 13th 2026
Once again, the Rotary Club of Dartmouth will be holding its exciting Summer Fete extravaganza in the Royal Avenue Gardens Dartmouth. It opens at 10.00 in the morning and there is enough to keep you occupied, fed and entertained well into the afternoon.
Lez, our very own Town Crier will be announcing the event all over Dartmouth.
There will be live music on the bandstand, a BBQ serving fabulous burgers and cold drinks, and the Amenity Hut will be dishing up teas, coffees, homemade cakes and sandwiches. Other activities will also include a Tombola and the very popular Bric-a-Brac stall.
For the children, there are stalls like Splat the Rat, the Mountain game and perhaps the highlight for them will be Lez the Fez cleverly making shapes of your choice from balloons.
Once again, classic cars are on display and this year we are hoping for a track only super car to appear – watch this space, or you might hear it before you see it.
At 16.00 we will be holding our now world-famous duck race; ducks will jostle and via for position to ensure they get in the best place to cross the finishing line first and provide a first prize of £150 for a lucky ticket holder.
We will also have a Shelter Box on display as this is one of the global charities Rotary supports, and a stand will explain a little bit more about what Rotary does, and the local charities it supports.
